Yamam Dominic Bukuni is an education administrator, social entrepreneur, and gender inclusion advocate dedicated to empowering women and young people to become transformative leaders. She is the Founder and Executive Director of SheRise To Lead Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to advancing women’s leadership, mentorship, economic empowerment, and social inclusion across Nigeria.

Yamam combines her passion for learning, leadership, and community development to create opportunities for underserved women and girls. Through SheRise To Lead Foundation, she has led impactful initiatives that equip women with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to thrive in leadership, entrepreneurship, governance, and public service.

Under her leadership, the Foundation has successfully implemented programs such as the Exceptional Ladies Conference, the SheRise Mentorship Program, and community outreach initiatives supporting vulnerable women and teenage mothers. Her work focuses on breaking barriers that limit women’s participation in decision-making and fostering a new generation of confident, purpose-driven female leaders.
