SheRise works to dismantle the social, cultural, and economic systems that exclude women and girls from opportunity and that expose them to violence, exploitation, and abuse.
We recognise that gender inequality and gender-based violence are deeply interconnected. Exclusion creates vulnerability; silence enables harm. Addressing equity without protection is incomplete.
Focus Areas
- Gender advocacy and community sensitisation to challenge harmful norms
- Advocacy against gender-based violence, child marriage, and sexual exploitation of the girl-child
- Policy dialogue and stakeholder engagement on women's rights and protection frameworks
- Survivor-centred awareness initiatives that promote dignity, access to support, and justice
- Safe spaces for women's voices, healing, participation, and collective action
